The foundation Gratis Weggeefhoek Hengelsportspullen (GWHS) is aimed at people who have less to spend or are under administration and who have fishing as a hobby. The foundation originated from a group of friends of eight anglers.

GWHS raffles fishing material to the people from this target group, so that they too can go fishing again. The people of the foundation do this completely voluntarily. Throughout the year, the won packages are sent throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. GWHS runs entirely on sponsorship of private individuals and angling shops.

In this way, the GWHS foundation tries to keep the threshold low so that this group can fish again.
